Workshop - Small Leather Goods - Full Day

Suitable for beginners or for people with some experience, on this one day course you will make 3 products of your choice from a range of products.

There will be a maximum of 5 people on a workshop, so groups are kept small, with plenty of help available.

Course runs from 10am – 5pm with a break for lunch. An individual packed lunch from our local tea rooms and tea and coffee included in the price.

Things you will learn in this one day workshop:

• Cutting out leather

• Hand Saddle Stitching

• Cutting and making a strap

• Riveting

• Finish edges (burnishing)

• Attaching a buckle

You can make one product from each category ( 3 in total included in the price):

Product group 1: Men’s wallet, Women’s purse, Notebook cover, Belt

Product group 2: Glasses/sunglasses case, Passport cover, Luggage label, Small purse, Card case, Pen holder

Product group 3: Bookmark, Keyring, Cable tidy

If you are a very quick maker you will be able to continue making more products and will just be charged for the leather/fittings used.
